Give up red meat righto.
Nothing breats a Sunday Roast as a treat more so than a forerib of beef with the works(homemade yorkshires and proper horseradish) roast Maris pipers( even if there turning slightly sweet this time of year)spring greens and glazed carrots.
Any prick that don't agree can fuck off

Ha ha! Fair enough Alfs! I don't want to deprive WHO of it's basic human rights based on a tiny point of fact.

Chim, I appreciate the lecture but you're in a forum of a load of 50 + cunts and two ex-page three girls, who have worked very hard all of their lives and are now being told that they can't have steak 'n chips.

I do hope our planet survives but that's just a request too far. And I'm nearly done with it.

Re: Give up red meat - I saw this coming.
I think a lot of you are simply not seeing the big picture when it comes to maintaining a cow to make your Big Mac or similar.

In a world where fresh water is in shorter supply it takes 660 litres of water to produce ONE Big Mac.

Cows are thirsty cunts and make sheep and pigs look like non- drinkers by comparison. Plus they fart extremely damaging gas into the air, it's comparable to the damage caused by exhaust fumes.

Some of you 'apex predators' (ha ha! Fat cunts who are hard of thinking) seem to have Brains that are barren places where the seed of rational thought can find no purchase.

It's probably best that you die rather than the people you blame the population explosion on because they can't afford to buy beef anyway.

It's not some left wing conspiracy (like everything else you disagree with is) it's just a fucking fact.

How big is this slice of cheese I’m allowed?

Alfs 1:19 Fri May 17
Re: Give up red meat - I saw this coming.
I forced myself to eat a slice of cheese today. The planet doesn't seem to have changed since I did. The man is a charlatan.

it would also help if the Pope would allow contraception

It's not WHAT we eat that is the problem - it's the fact that there are TOO MANY FUCKING PEOPLE ON THE PLANET eating.

Even if every one of us ate in moderation, there would still be TOO MANY FUCKING PEOPLE ON THE PLANET.

Right. Where's my grant, chair of learning, paid-for chambers and as many young students as I can eat? That IS the end game, is it not?

Key word there ED was "if". We keep being told it is. Obesity, cancer, heart disease etc all caused by what we eat and drink. I dunno whether its true or not (every new headline seems to contradict the last) but I'm just opining that if it is, then its probably not gonna be to do with stuff we've been eating since before we discovered fire.

I’ve given up booze for a few months at a time, but would struggle with red meat. Probably won’t see old bones due to my diet, but there you go.

Off to the big apple next weekend, and the trip wouldn’t be complete without a New York strip steak and a decent burger.

Re: Give up red meat - I saw this coming.
There's been a reaction against this too.

A growing number of people are choosing to eat full carnivore diets.

Basically a more extreme/restrictive version of keto.

End of the day humans have been eating both meat and plants for literally hundreds of thousands of years. Massive levels of processed sugar and grains and other chemical shite is whats new. If general health has deteriorated that much in recent years logic would suggest it isn't down to us eating either of the first two.

That's one giant leap for man, one small step from vegan to vegetative state.

Not eaten Red Meat for 26 years, never likes it, so don't miss it. Do it eat Chicken and Fish though. Couldn't become Vegan

Re: Give up red meat - I saw this coming.
I love a good steak...I refuse to buy any of the shit that they shovel at you from the supermarket though.

I won't eat it often but when I do it will be from a restaurant that grills it on the coals - you can't get much better. More satisfying than eating shit on a regular basis that it becomes boring.

I would also add that beef farming takes up a land mass the entire area of North America - Canada, Mexico and USA.

Chicken, Lamb and Pork is relatively modest by comparison.

I know what people mean about third world population but most of them don't eat beef do they? It's not cultural and they wouldn't be able to afford it. Their problem is poverty, ignorance, illiteracy and religion.

I guess that is where foreign aid goes but it doesn't seem to be having an effect as quickly as is required.

Again, there is no easy solution to that.

Re: Give up red meat - I saw this coming.
Over population is by far the biggest problem facing mankind... I given up red meat.,but not turned vegan. We all should make small changes.
Stop giving aid to third world shitholes without some form of born control would also help.
